Caroline focusses on estate renewal and refurbishment projects with integrated community engagement and co-design methods. She is currently leading the refurbishment process at the Lancaster West Estate, working with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and estate community to upgrade 300+ homes to improve their design and thermal performance.
Caroline was shortlisted for a RIBA Rising Star Award for excellence in community housing in 2016 following her pioneering work with residents on the Bacton Estate Masterplan in the London Borough of Camden. Recognised for its quality and community-focus in social housing, the project won numerous awards including a Civic Trust Award and Building Award. The project was also featured in the Guardian’s top ten ‘Buildings of the Year 2016’.
Caroline graduated from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art and joined the studio in 2011 following the completion of work on a series of London schools for the BSF programme.
