Caroline was shortlisted for a RIBA Rising Star Award for her excellence in community housing and engagement, as evidenced in her work for Bacton Estate masterplan in the London Borough of Camden, an award winning urban renewal project which is the result of significant collaboration with local resident groups and the council. The first completed phase of the 314 home masterplan was listed in the Guardian’s top ten ‘Buildings of the Year 2016’ and unlocked a complex site next to the Euston high-speed railway to deliver 67 homes for social rent, successfully re-housing the first residents affected by the re-building programme
Caroline is now working on the design of the second phase of the Bacton Estate, as well as the refurbishment and retrofit strategy for the Lancaster Estate, to sustainably upgrade council homes. In addition, Caroline was the Associate in Charge of the Ponders End Electric Quarter, a masterplan for 167 homes for the London Borough of Enfield.
