Maurizio’s focus has encompassed work on city and regional strategies,
the masterplanning of new mixed-use neighbourhoods and the development of
build-to-rent housing, tailored to the different needs of public and private
sector bodies.
Maurizio has been leading part of the wider Harrow Housing scheme which
is reshaping three carparks next to Canons Park, Raynors Lane and Stanmore
Station into residential neighbourhoods, with new public routes and civic
amenity. Maurizio has also been involved in leading the design of Byron
Quarter, a long-term framework to fund and deliver new leisure facilities, park
improvements and a mixed-tenure residential quarter of 820 new homes in the
London Borough of Harrow. Designed in collaboration with an extensive group of
stakeholders, the design coherently revises and reconfigures leisure uses to
increase accessibility and park-front activities to elevate community health
and wellbeing.
Past projects include the regeneration of Ponders End in Enfield, and a
masterplan for a 30ha site in South Bermondsey. Maurizio joined the practice in
2012 and previously worked for Design for London (DfL) and the GLA on the All
London Green Grid programme.
