Exemplars published by RIBA.
The book brings together 24 public housing exemplars from 20 practices from across the UK and Europe, alongside context essays and interviews from practitioners and current-day clients and policy writers.
In conjunction with the books’ release, our exhibition also opens this week on the 2nd Floor Gallery at the RIBA.
Curated by Karakusevic Carson Architects, the exhibition also features many of the projects detailed in the book, including; BIQ/Hans van der Heijden (The Netherlands), Zanderroth Architekten (Germany), Adam Khan Architects (UK), Trévelo & Viger-Kohler Architectes (France), Assemble (UK), Einszueins (Austria), Lacaton & Vassal (France), Mecanoo (The Netherlands), Niall McLaughlin Architects (UK), Chartier Dalix (France), LAN architecture (France), s333 architecture + Urbanism (UK), Sergison Bates (UK and CH).
Each scheme has a large scale plan drawing or axonometric, alongside a large physical model.
